Was I? I wish I could have remembered it. But it's not bad to start from scratch either.

I'm very well. But what should I tell you about home? I don't want to spoil events for you.

[She smiles, shakes her head in wordless thanks to the compliment.]

I know most of everything that happens, don't worry. I mean, I know we win.

Well it's now almost two months gone since the battle. Dad and I are rebuilding our house, and things are going well. One day I saw a gulping plimpy down in the stream, but it wouldn't take my bait.

[That's mad. Percy's barely a week from it, she's still from April.]

Good. That's... I'm glad, Luna, I hope you and your dad are alright. I know he was really worried about you, we all were. I would've gone after you if I could, you know that, don't you? But everyone thought they'd take me next.

I'm not offended. I'm standing under a cloud shaped like a unicorn, but maybe that's not helpful enough.

[She glances around and reads off the name of a shop and restaurant that are next door to each other.]

[Merlin knows she would have tried to find a cloud shaped like a unicorn. Instead, Ginny smiles and shuts off the video feed and in moments, she's Apparated to that very spot, and promptly throws her arms around Luna in a hug.]

[Luna hugs back, smiling in that dreamy way of hers.]

You look great. How're you finding the City?

Thank you. It's very nice. There looks like there's a lot to do, and no one has to hide their magic. I wonder if it'd be easier to find some of the little creatures my father and I are always looking for. At home they tend to be hidden like us. Maybe it's different here.

[hexuality]

[Oh, Luna. Only you.]

There's loads of different things here, even stuff that doesn't exist in our world. The zoo's got a fair amount of all sorts of creatures—dinosaurs, can you believe it?—but I wouldn't be surprised if the forest had more.

Oh, I think I'd like to see both of those. Maybe I can find a crumple-horned snorkack to tell Dad about whenever I go home.

Have you ever seen any strange creatures in the forest?

[She's been attacked by strange creatures in the forest and has the scars to prove it. She won't say as much, though, just smiles.]

Once or twice, but I never got a good look at them. If you definitely want to see something, the zoo would be your best bet. I can take you, if you like!

I would enjoy that! I've never been to the zoo with a friend before!

[Oh, Luna.]

Then I'd be happy to take you. [She inclines her head in one direction.] Come on, then, it's in Xanadu. I can try and answer any questions you've got while we walk, though!

[Luna's smiling widely, eyes sparkling.]

Xanadu? What a lovely name. I wonder who chose it. Well, yes, questions. I'm not sure I really need to know anything. These sort of things have a way of falling into place.

The deities, I suppose. It's this massive garden with all four seasons in it so you can see every plant no matter what.

Oh, how lovely.

[Her voice is, of course, rather dreamy.]

I really rather enjoy studying plants and animals. Of course, the plants are easier to find because they can't run off and hide like a creature can. Well, most plants can't.

I was about to say—

[She starts laughing.]

Some plants would sooner run off than be poked at. Then again, I reckon Neville would know better. [And then her eyes light up.] Neville—how is he? Have you seen much of him lately?
