She is currently walking down one of the many side-walks, her heels making distinct taps against the concrete. She has yet to change out of the dress she arrived in and her sword and sheathe are tied neatly around her waist. )

The pulse of life in this City is almost overwhelming. ( Especially for one who has spent so much time either in another or alone. )

It's difficult for even one such as I to find friends and foes. ( She pauses in the middle of a street. Yes. Just try to hit her. ) Can I trust what I feel?

( Extending one arm, she raises her gaze to the heavens. ) Are you toying with me? Is this a farce?

( She pays no attention to anything or anyone around her. A wild wind whips her long curls around her body, obscuring her expression. )
