[Whoa, hey there. Elijah looks over the dragon with a wary eye, but it doesn't take long for him to determine there's something familiar to its (and its wrangler's) gear.]

Believe me, son, I been askin' myself the same thing from day one. [He nods to the dragon.] She yours?

[ Son. Frank snorts, the dragon snorting with him. ]

Yeah, she's mine. Raised her from an egg. She's a good girl, my Charlotte. [ Charlotte preens, arching her neck into her rider's hand. ]

Sure looks like you raised her real well. [He glances around.] I'm guessin' the two of you ain't ordinarily accustomed to bein' in cities this size.
