[She's doing alright, actually. Better than last time this event happened. There have only been a few uncomfortable conversation and she's almost stopped expecting Barbet - (Or Vic. She had hoped for Vic.) - to appear on every corner. Rex is happy too, getting lots of attention from nervous strangers.]

[ He approaches her. Half-frowning, hands in pockets. It's on impulse that he decided to come after her. But. She looked so - unwell. An unhealthy reminder of himself - drugged, woozy, miserably slurring - after Amshel's experiments. ]

[She gives him an incredulous look. She has been... inebriated in front of him before. The weekend of Easter she had inhaled something while in Saya's presence that had triggered her arousal like a switch and then left her in rather hazy euphoria as it had slowly dissipated. The doctor underground had also pumped her full of painkillers while she was unconscious, but neither of those incidents had been of her choosing.]

It makes something twinge inside of her chest, already making her reconsider that brief flash of bloodlust. She doesn't want to see herself. She doesn't want to leave her either. Looking distracted, she turns without a word, heading back the way she came to look down into the side streets.]
