『 072 』Rita's legal!

[ Earlier in the day, this is Flynn in the kitchen in an apron with Tyr. Tyr's also in an apron. On the dining table, there's this beautifully-made cake* (Note; Flynn's supposed to be great at making food look beautiful! This is my attempt at showing that but it's not exactly amazing... JUST ASSUME IT'S BEAUTIFUL!)-]

CAKE OF DOOM

Happy Birthday, Rita.

[ A cat-themed cake. ]

I thought I'd help Tyr with the preparations-

[ Tyr comes into view. He seems a little rushed - his hair is even messier than usual - when he announces: ]

The rest of the lunch will be done soon. There's more than enough for everyone.

[Wow, that's a nice-looking cake. Cat ears, frosting, everything...]

[Also Tyr is super sweet (Rita suspects this is his doing) and she'd feel pretty sappy...]

[BUT WHY IS FLYNN IN THE KITCHEN]

H-hey! Is that safe to eat?

Tyr oversaw the creation of this. It was his idea to do a cat-themed cake.

[ ..........mostly. ]

Is he the one who baked it?

No. He's been busy preparing the other dishes. The cake is my creation.

Of course it is- I was watching him...

[ SHE BETTER NOT MEAN HIS COOKING. He made a quiche... Because Rita can eat it with one hand... ]

That's what I was worried about...

[RITA KNOWS HIS COOKING IS SAFE and he's the best. Quiche~]

I trust you to put in the right ingredients, so-

Anyway--have you been planning this?

[ TODAY IS ABOUT RITA and he hoped Flynn wouldn't mess up a cake... ]

No, I just woke up this morning and started this on a whim...

[KYAA KYAA~ And she sure hopes that Tyr specified all the ingredients.]

Really? Then we should expect something like this more often?

[ He probably wrote out the recipe... ]

Sure. Just ask Flynn anytime.

Tyr provided me with a recipe so he's had a hand on this as well...

And you followed it exactly, right?

[And made sure Flynn knew to follow it, too...]

Ugh, you think I'm that crazy?

[ No............................. ]

Mostly, yes.

[ For...the most part... ]

I'd call it "adventurous"...

[Mostly isn't good enough with Flynn!!]

What do you mean, mostly? What did you do differently?

Okay, Mr. Adventure. I'll tell him to surprise you one morning with an all-you-can-eat breakfast.

I deviated from the recipe a bit. To add some taste.
