[ Ariadne is sitting on the couch, an orange kitten curled up on her lap. Behind her is a man, who seems to be holding a cup of coffee and looking out the window. ]
Well. [ She pauses, rubbing the back of her neck. ] My father's here, but if anyone else would like to say hello or needs anything, I'm still available. He said he'll be going out for a walk in a little bit anyway.
[ As if on cue, the man pulls away from the window and heads for the kitchen. Ariadne watches him go, some of the tension gone when she looks back at the camera. ]
I'm Ariadne. Welcome to the City.
((ooc: Open for fourth walling! Please no telling her she's from a movie. Other than that, go wild~))

He picks up the pace a little, just a bit, if only because he imagines Abi will want to skip or trot or something other appropriate gesture. ]
Are you glad it's different, Abi?

[It's cold but she's from Maine, she's used to the cold. She does skip.]

[ With the water there's more of a breeze, so he pulls the hat from his head and plonks it on her head again. ] Here, put that on. It's chilly out here, okay? Just don't let go of it. You'll be fine.

[She looks at the sea and then back at him and holds his hand tighter]
We can just sit here, right?
[Sometimes without another seal Abi gets nervous - there might be something that wants to eat her out there, no matter how much she wants to go in]

Hello. Is she a friend of yours?
no subject
She is, actually, yes. We're sort of related.

And you've seen her for yourself. Kind of impossible not to love.
