[ Coulson's sitting on a bench in the park. There's a black labrador puppy curled up by his feet, tongue lolling out.

To the very trained and familiar observer, it'll be clear that Coulson's still holding himself a little more stiffly than usual, but for the most part he looks relaxed and calm. Approachable, even. ]

I'm going to have to find you a name, won't I? [ The puppy whines happily.

Coulson shakes his head slowly. When he speaks again, his voice in the same deliberate and even tone, he seems to be addressing empty air: ] Barton, if you're going to follow me around, at least be more subtle about it.

Thor's good at the whole matchmaking thing. The two of you are adorable.

[ Silence falls, but it's not awkward, the sun shining down and the birds twittering, and at some point Fury's completely curled up and nodded off. ]

I'll leave you two to it. [ Getting up reluctantly. ] I'll grab some groceries on the way back so you don't have to strain yourself.

[ Clint gets a nod, something that might be a smile. ]

[ For a guy who got shot and died, he's not looking bad at all. But the teasing aside, he's still giving him a pass.

With a mock salute, Clint wanders off, and if he checks back over his shoulder then he's denying it later. ]
