legal, yeah. various cultural differences between the planets made that necessary.

It's not, where I'm from-- at least, not in most states. Which means it isn't always spoken about. A compelling reason not to admit to it.

legal doesn't mean it's readily accepted. there are plenty of people who'll try and get on your ass for complying to a patient's wishes.
