It's strange how, after a few years, weekends like this start to feel almost routine. Which isn't to suggest, of course, that the curses themselves aren't still capable of being disturbing and dangerous - honestly, that makes the fact that the weekends themselves feel so routine all the more unsettling.
Of course, I seriously doubt anyone needs to be told to be careful, going about their business in spite of the curses. And I trust that any individual who decides to spend the day out and about, spending time with their friends, is being particularly alert for anyone who may be affected by some of the more dangerous curses.
[There's a slightly pointed pause. It's not that he's aiming that at anybody, of course.]
Anyway. Penny, it's entirely possible that, with all this, I might be working a bit late. Should I pick something up for dinner?
[ooc: Uhhhhhh so family curse time! Neil (
had_not_lived) is his son annnd Penny (
anunluckypenny) is his wife - buuuuut not Neil's mom. Yeah... what can I say, really? Even a curse can't magic away Wilson's divorce rate.]
