[She's there. Already sitting on a nearby bench, one knee bouncing anxiously. She spots Percy and waves, standing and watching the few people in the area as she makes her way over.]

Hey. Good to see you.

[He nods to her.]

And you. Are you all right, Miss McGee?

[charring]

Not really, no. [She debates whether or not to tell him anything but then decides he'd probably believe her. This is the City, after all. Crazy things happen constantly.]

Ah...I think I was cursed to hallucinate a clown on fire in the shop. And then on the way home I was almost attacked by a vampire. [Another pause and a shake of her head, an attempt at a small smile on her face.] Not really having the best day here.

[Charlie manages to smile at that, happy for Percy. She wasn't sure what she, personally, would do if her mother showed up.] Yeah? How'd that go?

As well as my mum showing up in a place like this could be expected to go. She told me I looked too skinny and threatened to go grocery shopping.

I hear that's a thing moms do; show concern for their offspring. [It sounds nice.]
