Does anyone have any experience in suddenly being taller? It looks like this is a pretty common one but nothing fits right now except some of my baggier shirts. Barely.

Getting taller happened to Claire once. I had to charm all her clothes for the day so they'd fit—want me to come around and do that?

[ None of their clothes were going to fit her right - male or female, but some clothes are better than none. Still, Arthur quirks a brow as he passes her...er...him (today), his hands sliding into his pockets as he pauses at the side of the couch. ]

We should get you your own clothes.

[ Given the City's sense of humor, he would not be surprised to see this repeated, so it's hardly a one-off investment. ]

[ At least a few inches taller than each of them, skinnier than Eames and Yusuf but with slightly broader shoulders than Arthur -- Ariadne has to wonder why she had to go and be difficult about this. (Welcome to the club, Ariadne; people wonder that about you all the time.) Biscuit is on her lap, apparently unconcerned with the fact that his usually tiny owner is now taller and has a bit of stubble.

There's a sigh as Arthur speaks, mostly because she knows he's right. ]

Yeah. I guess. [ She would just really not have to explain to anyone who she is, especially any of the guys in engineering. ]

[ Eames doesn't like surprises. There's a generally strict rule in the house about guests, that they need to notify each other (more importantly: tell Eames) when someone plans to have guests and the like. Aside from the French woman's plopping right into Ariadne's bed (what a surprise there), it's generally been a followed thing both for his and the architect's terse conversation at the beginning and just because the other housemates aren't exactly prone to having guests.

So imagine Eames' surprise when he goes down the stairs to view, midway through his descent, an unfamiliar head of hair on his couch in the living area - muted in favor of going back up the stairs to promptly retrieve a bat from his closet and then coming down fully this time. If Ariadne got a new boyfriend, he's fairly certain she wouldn't go about bringing him here...

He clears his throat pointedly. ]

[ All Ariadne is attempting to do is pet her cat, Biscuit apparently not caring what body she's wearing when ear scratches are on the menu. He also doesn't seem to care about what she's wearing, which is more or less a mess of Arthur's clothing, as they appear to be the closest in size (though Ariadne is, she's pleased to note, both taller and broader in the shoulders). Unfortunately, however, having a shirt means that she's covering up her one truly identifying mark: her tattoo.

Eames clears his throat behind her and she turns, Biscuit meowing a complaint as he jumps up onto the back of the couch. Her eyes are still large and brown and they blink once, an eyebrow raising. ] Why do you have a bat? [ It doesn't quite occur to her just yet that Eames might not recognize her. ]
