[Rex is back, only this time his creepiness is offset by the fact that he's currently cradling a... hairless sphynx cat in his arms. Somebody's found himself a soulmate! He's idly rubbing its belly with one gloved hand, and the cat looks at the communication device with its wrinkly, scowly face, as if to say "You got a problem with this?" Rex's eyes are red-rimmed and a bit watery, thanks to, WHOOPS, A CAT ALLERGY. It turns out sphynx cats aren't hypoallergenic.]

I still don't believe there's anything magical about this. With the right stimuli, people can be compelled to do anything.

[Hmph. As if on cue, he cuddles the cat even more. Ughhh, this disgusts him.]

Anyway. The reason for this transmission is... I'm in need of a job. I'm a scientist-- an engineer by trade. I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and-- [The cat bats at his wig. He scowls and swats its paw, causing the cat to play-bat at his hand and snag its claws on his glove. WHY CAN'T HE STOP HUGGING IT.] a degree in computer programming. I've also provided my share of medical services. [Both in the army and, uh, to his... human test subjects.] As you can imagine, such versatility has given me a wide range of experiences that would suit any employer well. A full resume can be provided upon request.

If there are any openings for jobs in the sciences, I'd be most grateful if you let me knew.

[The cat yowls and Rex shoots it a scowl.]

[By the time Rex makes it to Building Three, he's exchanged the sphynx for a fat Maine Coon, which feels like dead weight in his arms. Being the scrawny little guy that he is, the 20 lb cat is starting to weigh down on him after a while. But he just can't stop hugging it. It's like a giant teddybear... one that's causes an allergic reaction, damn, he really hates cats...

Luckily, he manages to make it to the shop without sneezing his face off.]

[Saya is comfortably sitting at a long low bench, fiddling with some clockwork while she waits. Her focus is laser sharp, and she's dressed like she's working in an office, not a garage - the office of Vogue magazine, her clothing head-to-sharp as razor-heels designer. She looks up when he comes through the door - the cat blinks at her.]

Hello.

[Growing impatient, the cat starts to squirm in his arms. Rex hefts it under one arm and offers a gloved hand to shake. Briefly, he eyes her outfit, wondering just what kind of autoshop is this.]

Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you in person. My apologies for my... companion. [He really doesn't want the cat here, but he just can't help it.]

[One where the owner cannot actually get dirty, ever. She stands up, and she takes a step forward, and then another. It's not obvious from looking at her, but watching her move it becomes more obvious that she moves just slightly off.]

Cats are fine. You might want to let go, though.

[Just a suggestion. She sets her clockwork down and inclines her head towards the hydraulic lift, where a Porsche is above them]

[As one who moves slightly off, himself, Rex takes notice. The distraction is what actually causes his 'hug' to loosen, freeing the Maine Coon to run off and do... cat things. Rex very nearly breathes a sigh of relief. At her cue, he glances up, moving so that he's no longer directly beneath the car.]

Admirable craftsmanship... Any special features?

[The corners of her lips lift, and she brings the hydraulic lift down]

I redid the entire suspension, and remounted the engine. There isn't a car that goes as fast as this one without making a sound.

[He scans the vehicle with an appraising eye.]

Impressive. Does this shop work on any other augmentations? [Weapons, naturally, are his specialty, and he's wondering if there's room for that here.]

[She looks him over for a long moment]

It can, if you'd like to.

Does your clientele have much use for armored vehicles that carry a few... extra perks?

They might.

[He holds his hand out for a gentlemanly shake.] Then I may be interested in the open position.

[She takes his hand and shakes it]
