But I have to admit, the carousel is what worries me most - unless I'm greatly misremembering the past few years, things which affect it can bode very poorly for us.

But, what has happened with the carousel in the past? I've a little information digging around, but the guides don't mention much, that I recall.

As for the carousel... well. The animals have come to life and attacked people - though the worst of it was when it stopped along with the clock. Honestly, its relation to the clock makes anything going on with it a bit ominous.

The barriers began to break down, which let in some visitors from beyond them - not so much the temporary guests we occasionally get, more like... well, harpies.
