[It's audio for a reason. She sounds annoyed and there are sounds of things being picked up and set down and faint hissing sounds from her. Sharp intakes of breath through teeth indicating something hurt. Or probably hurts.]


..ow. Son of a...Okay. Yesterday? Didn't this happen during October? That whole cannibal thing? [Another muttered swear or two and the sound of fabric or something tearing.]

To the people I set fire to, you only get half an apology. You were cursed, yes, but while cursed you tried to eat me. It was purely self defense. [Which means at most, it'd feel like a bad sunburn and there were people missing eyebrows. There's more sounds. More things being moved, plastic bottles thinking together and a metal box opening and shutting. Phantom and Petrichor start arguing in the background and Charlie huffs in exasperation.]


...Rapunzel. Pie jars for that B you didn't actually get. I still want to do this and I found information on lanterns. You still in? [The arguing animals stop and Charlie resumes whatever it was she was doing. Something bumps the device and there is a good shot of Charlie's right arm. It's bandaged in spots, bruised in others. All injuries in the shape of bites. Charlie notices this and the feed switches off.

Yep. It's a rule of mine. Don't apologize for your actions during a curse unless you're the one who's cursed. And even then, don't apologize unless it was really bad.

[She's going to look significantly better when Merlin gets there, thanks to Pavel. She will still have some bruises here and there, all of them bite-shaped but Pavels little whatever it was called worked quite well on the worse bites. She'll be reorganizing the first aid kit, sitting on the couch when he arrives.]

[However that works. But he doesn't question and it doesn't take him awfully long to get there. As told, he's careful not to let Phantom pass him in case he decides to make an attempt at freedom.

Hey. [She finishes with the first aid kit, giving Phantom a mildly annoyed look as he hops onto the couch as well. Charlie only half ignores the fox kit, leaning her head on Merlins shoulder. She's actually not sure if this is allowed, considering that recent High School thing but Merlin is there and a source of comfort.] So, yesterday, I was going to go to the roof to get some gardening done. I'd already checked the network to see what was going on so I had no plans to go anywhere except the roof. I open the front door and Phantom gets out. He runs right downstairs, right outside and I ended up chasing him right into the woods.

[She doesn't really sound upset over this. Oh, sure, she sounds annoyed as she speaks, exasperated even, but that's the extent of her emotions right now.]

There were people in the woods who thought I was something to eat.

[Well, he's not going to protest it. Especially not if she feels it's what she needs.]

[He snorts, softly, and shakes his head before he peers down at her.]

[Keep being fabulous to her, Merlin. She enjoys it. She looks up at him, shrugging. Phantom has his chin resting on her leg and is just watching him. Charlie spares a moment to scratch the fox kit behind the ears, still looking at Merlin.]

I think I'll be alright. I'm just annoyed at the City. [Which goes without saying. It's just there are some days when it's more so than usual. Like after yesterday.] Were you alright yesterday?
