I still sometimes...I see something that makes me laugh and I still reach for my phone to tell him about it, before I remember that he's not there. I find a dress I like and I can just hear him saying the color makes my nose look big, or...and I just know at graduation, I'm going to look out when I walk across the stage and expect to see him there, and he won't be.

I just think he'd be so mad at me if I didn't try. And I'm afraid if I keep mourning too long I'll just...never stop. It'd be so easy to just never stop.

It runs in the family. That's why I'm going to be okay, too. It just might take me a little while. But I'll never know if I don't try, will I? And I wouldn't jump at all if I didn't know you'd be there to catch me if I couldn't land on my own two feet.
