[There is a vampire leaning by The Raven's entrance. His posture is like a snake's. Nothing stirring but a glint in the eye and a flicking tongue-tip. All gathered bloodlust waiting for its moment.]

The next brat to sneak in, will be summarily tossed out.

In pieces. 

[A smile. Bright, and entirely without warmth.]

Don't try it. And keep your pitiful bribes to yourself.


[OOC: Grrr. Noisy whippersnappers! NO DRINKS FOR YOU! By which I mean, anyone's totally free to come waltzing in - and stir up trouble. Just keep in mind, Karl may toss you out. His fondness for eating teenage girls notwithstanding, he has work to do, after all! Replies will be sporadic, as my internet is being a bitch!]

[All Kira really has to do is ask. She'd do anything he asked. Really.

But for now, screw it; when else is she going to get to do this?]

[Ew. Get a room you two. Karl's just going to crook an eyebrow at you both. And realize - with an internal zing - who the third presence in the bar is. The Cherub. Of course.]

[Smirking faintly, he regards Hatter.]

Of course you're not. [You're just severely out of your element in an adult vampire bar. Turning to Kira, he adds:]

Death is bad for business. The only 'victims' in this place are willing ones.

[Because some things just don't change. Definitely getting shrugged off now. Kira agrees, Karl, ew.]

If that's the case, then what has you worried?

[That was said in that adult tone that means "I know better than that" wasn't it? Just wait until she's back to what passes for normal, cause totally not human.

And pretty much shoved back into the bar, but she's not complaining. Knew it wouldn't last too long.

Just going to order another drink since there's no telling how much longer this is going to last either.]

[Watching Kira shove Hatter off is a familiar sight. It reminds him of Diva putting down an over enthusiastic Chevalier. And yes, he does know better. In their cursed state, Kira and Hatter are little better than kids.]

[To Kira, he says:]

Other than the fact that you've clearly never been in a place like this before? [Scowling.] You may, or may not, have brought a stowaway.

[Setsuna. In a vampire bar. Little better than a sitting duck.]

[Actually, apart from not knowing about the City, Kira isn't all that different from usual. He doesn't know he's Lucifer, but he knows he's not just human. Same age, same attitude.]

No idea what you're talking about.

[Yes, he does. Interesting, the whole thing. Vampires outside of Hell...]

[Just looking over her drink at the two of them.

Who the hell were they...oh, of course. Kira wouldn't be without his puppy dog now would he? But as dumb as it was for her to come in here--that one takes the prize.

Not that she'd tell Kira that.]

[Alas, Hatter. Even cursed, Kira and Setsuna are inseparable, it seems. Which, by the way, is a very bad idea. A human, out of his depth at The Raven is a big enough hitch in otherwise smooth business. But Setsuna - well, the boy has a tendency to attract danger. Karl wouldn't be surprised to find him dangling cold and limp from a hungry vampire's fangs.]

[Frowning, he glances around once, before turning to Kira.]

Really? Then excuse me, while I locate said stowaway.

[Decisions, decisions... Alright then.]

[One arm slides around Hatter, his mouth by her ear and he whispers. Looks sweet enough, although his voice is cold.]

You'll distract him.

[He'll take care of Setsuna himself. Fast, it seems, and so he steps back, knowing his request, hell, order will be followed, and looks for Setsuna.]

[There's a whole moment where everything was perfect and she was pretty sure her knees would give out as he whispered in her ear. Didn't matter what he said, or how he said it, he was this close to her on his own free will (it'll hit her later on how it really was, just leave her her delusions a bit longer okay?).

Distraction. Distraction. How was she going to do that? And then a few things came to mind.

She stood up on the bar, sorry mister bartender and looked around the room.]

Anybody want a bite?

[Oh.]

[Oh NO.]

[What is that girl doing? Is she that intoxicated, or just suicidal? Naturally, her offer gets more than a few glances. And more than a few vampires coming in her direction. Gazes brighten. Teeth are bared and lips are licked.]

[If it were anywhere else, Karl would let them take her. Hell, he'd be first in line. A reckless human was a dead one, after all. But he doesn't need a greater mess in the bar.]

Stop. That.

[Reaching out, he grabs Hatter's elbow. And, to the approaching vampires, he levels a glare. Eyes bright red, fangs glinting.]

Nothing to see here. She's insane.

[Oh maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. Kira had better really appreciate that she did this for him...yeah and some place really hot might freeze over or something stupid.

At least she doesn't completely fall when Karl pulls her off the bar but just kind of topples instead.]

[Hope you and your heterosexual life partner are out of here Kira...]

Of course not. You're just overwhelmed to be in a bar that eats your kind.

[Dragging Hatter off the shiny bar-top, he deposits her on her feet. The scene has garnered quite a few spectators. And some vampires, still lingering. Hoping the tasty redhead changes her mind. A dark glower from Karl sends them dispersing.]

You stupid, stupid girl.

[He is in such a tizzy. Tugging Hatter by the arm, he hands her over to the bouncer - a hulking, Orc-like man. His orders are delivered through gritted teeth.]

Make sure she stays out.

[And, whirling, he rushes to locate the suddenly absent Kira - and his little Cherub.]

[Okay, so she got thrown out. Not the first time. At least she'll have an interesting story to tell everyone in class tomorrow.]
