If anyone noticed a planet imploding in reflective surfaces the other day, it was another dream. Don't worry about it. That said, if any of you were injured by dreams and haven't come to the hospital yet, get a move on. If it's serious, I'll be here all night. If not, day shift will have you covered.

And can someone explain why the janitor just hugged me?

Clearly, the janitor feels so overwhelmingly isolated that he longs for even the most fleeting human touch.

[Oh god, it's a conversation where they're not just escalating each others' tendencies to worry. This seems like the worst time to bring up an imploding planet ever. :| ]

[That's punctuated with a smirk. It doesn't seem like he's going to get a smooth segue at any point - so, after a moment, he just shifts to the other topic. The smirk is quite gone.]

I don't mean to pry any more than the City already has, but... if it is something you want to talk about - or if you ever just want to grab a drink in general, I'm usually up for that.

It's not a pretty story. Grabbing drinks, though, that doesn't sound half bad.
