Video | Action | Locked from Sam

[Dean is sitting at his desk in the police station when he turns the camera on. He leans over, close to the video and grins.]

Okay, so today is the Sasquatch's birthday and since everyone knows Sam's a big girl, every time you see him, give him a hug. Hell, tell him he's pretty and kiss him for good measure then tonight about seven or so head out to the bar [random npc not quite a dive but almost bar] and come celebrate with us.


[Action]

When people arrive at the bar, Dean will already be there, sitting near the door and drinking a beer. He's bribed the bar owner (and promised he'd clean up after wards) to let him decorate so the place currently looks like it puked up Pepto and sparkles. There's a banner hanging across one wall that says Happy Birthday Princess!! The cake is sitting near the back at a table under the banner. It's huge, in the shape of a princess crown and iced in pink and purple. It says Happy Birthday Sam.

Also, there might be party hats and noisemakers. Dean clearly thinks Sam is a six year old girl.

Mingle, dance, drink and enjoy the party.

[But he is happy, that's obvious. Sam always wanted a dog, as a kid.]

[He grins at Sam.]

You know...I kinda couldn't bring your present here with me...he and Little Sam got into a fight over a chew toy.

[He has a LOT of dogs, as it were.]

[Sam glances up sharply, an almost childish light in his eyes.]

Really?

Really! I have a lot of dogs that don't have homes because people leave and the like...I figured you might like one.

[Hanna grins at Sam, nodding eagerly.]

Gawain seemed excited too, but if you want to come back and pick one out yourself...

Oh wow. I mean, that's so generous. I wouldn't even know how to choose...

I thought you might like a dog. I mean, Little Sam loves you...

[iwatchtjhooker]

Yeah, but I'm not taking him from you. Besides... the name thing would be really awkward.

[manofgnee]

Yeah, I know. But he likes you, and you do well with him, so I'm sure one of the other dogs will love you!

Like I said, I was gonna bring Gawain here, but...well, why don't you come over and pick one out for yourself?

[iwatchtjhooker]

I will. [Sam looks over the rainbow.] Really, Hanna, that's... I'm really touched.

[manofgnee]

Aw, gee...

[He laughs and goes a bit pink.]

We're pals, it's what pals do.

[iwatchtjhooker]

Yeah. [Sam's still sort of over the moon, though.] I just always wanted a dog.

[manofgnee]

I always wanted one as a kid, too...animals never liked me, though, so no dog.

[iwatchtjhooker]

What do you mean? Why wouldn't they like you?

[manofgnee]

You know, I'm not really sure...got some theories, but I don't really know.

[iwatchtjhooker]

But they like you now? That's just weird.

[manofgnee]

Well, they only seem to like me here...
