[ 81st consult | video ]
[The video feed cuts on abruptly, and the view is simply a blur of motion. It lands on the floor of the hallway hospital, and when it comes to rest (after hitting the ground and spinning a bit), it's pointed at the office of one Doctor James Wilson.
For his part, Wilson is rapidly retreating from that office. Probably because, within the office, a combination of paperwork and a selection of the small knick-knacks that decorate his office are being tossed about. He slams the door behind him, standing with his back against it for a moment while taking a few rapid breaths. When he seems to have regained composure (and probably calmed his heart rate a bit), he starts glancing around the hallway - and his eyes lock on the device. He walks over and picks it up, giving a weary sigh as he turns it off.]
[ooc: Open to action if your character would be at the hospital. I'm posting from work just before leaving, and going out tonight, so tags will be delayed... and my slowatus is still in effect :( But... I LOVE YOU GUYS?]

action;
[Even if he'll have to find somewhere else to eat.]
And I could hardly turn down the opportunity to sample a recommended bakery.

[She can pretend not to be traumatized, watch her go!]
action;
[It's fairly convincing. Or it might be, for some people. He's not buying it, but pointing that out doesn't seem like it will accomplish much at this juncture.]
I think I may have to find somewhere else to enjoy it, though.
action;
[It's actually very nice, by her estimations.]
action;
Well, I suppose if it's tolerable, outside might do.
[And, after a pause,]
How are you finding the City, so far?
action;
It has been interesting. I had not been in to such a large city in quite some time.
[She doesn't really include her captivity in her estimation of time. Being locked in that hole had been timeless, she does not know how long it stretched.]
action;
Then I'm sure the size alone must be enough of an adjustment to make without everything else here. I hope it hasn't been too difficult.
action;
It will be all right.
[Living out of your car on the outskirts of town does not qualify as 'all right,' Anna Assaoui.]
action;
Well, if there's ever anything that you need, you can let me know. I'd be happy to help with anything that I can.
action;
[But reluctant to ask for more.]
action;
action;
[And she is, unfortunately, very earnest in that. That it's alright to ask, even for small things. That no one is going to ask her where she's from, or grow suspicious about any wounds she might bear from Lucie, or suspicious of the crazed girl herself. She can talk to people. She can be here. Those are lessons she... really will have to take time to learn.]
