53rd Slay [Accidental Video | Action]

[Buffy is in at home beating on the punching bag. Her skin is dripping sweat so it's obvious she's been at this a while. She's got ear buds in her ears and the tinny sound of pop music can be heard even from where the device is sitting on a stool a few feet away. She turns on the punching bag with a flying roundhouse kick that snaps the chain it's hanging from and sends it sailing across the room to knock the device off the table. She stands with her hands at the small of her back for a moment before walking over to retrieve the device, noticing it's recording when she does.]

So that's how I'm dealing with the ticking. How's everyone else doing?

Yeah but we're always gung ho to get out there and be independent and do everything on our own. No one tells us that on our own sucks.

[Pause] Okay so everyone tells us that. We just don't believe it.

Yeah it's probably more the second one than the former. Indestructible and all in youth. [He waves nine fingers at her.] Not so much later on, right?

[She arches an eyebrow at the display.] Some of us more than others. You have nine fingers. What happened?

Sort of girlfriend accidentally slammed it in a door. And then a dog ate it when I was shooting this assassin.

I guess that rules out re-attachment.

[captainfuckingmagic]

The best part is, it actually had been reattached, and then this guy like tore, ... well, it wasn't, and then the dog ate it, so I couldn't reattach the reattachment.

You have really bad luck with that finger.

[captainfuckingmagic]

Not anymore! But yeah, it was a fun.. thing. Good excuse to put off marriage and shit though - no finger.
