undespairing: (but it was there the whole time!)

ship action/voice;

Wow, this ship is huge!

[Elmer's found himself in the first class section of the Gargantuan, and is wandering cheerfully through the halls - peeking through any carelessly open doors, looking out every window he comes across...he's obviously not a first class passenger though. Maybe second. (He's a stowaway.)]

I wonder how many passengers are here? A hundred? A thousand! Just imagine a ship with ten thousand passengers on it! Haha, but there couldn't possibly be a ship that huge. Not even this one. [He pats the nearest wall as if this were a horse and not...a gigantic inanimate object.]

Hm, I wonder where the kitchens might be...

[Hearing as he passes, Ken mutters in return.]

It's about two thousand passengers. I don't know where the kitchens are, however.

[The enthusiasm...it's almost catching.]

Why do you want to go to the kitchens? Are you a chef?
oceantrauma: (What?)

...they don't mind if you go in the kitchens?

And you're right. It would be interesting to explore it.

... I don't wanna imagine that. Anything with ten thousand people on it better be island-sized!

Good. That's how boats oughta be!

Nah, pretty sure those're just continents. This [ he raps knuckles against a wall. ] is as big as it gets!

You sure you can handle knowing?
errandry: (like a g6.)

I dunno, that could go pretty bad if you aren't ready to handle it! You shouldn't underestimate a masterpiece!

In all likelihood it will be more than one person who gets to ride the first country-sized ship.
