[ The first thing that flashed across the video feed? A tiny, pink paw, which pressed against the screen for half a second, followed by tiny little claws, scratching over it. ]

Aah, careful, don't break that. [Akira's sitting cross-legged behind the kitten and reaches over to give his tail a light tug.]

[ That tail fluffs up automatically, a hiss coming from the kitten’s mouth before he’s turning his attention back to Akira, and-- swatting at his face. The swatting earns a laugh, but he pretty much allows it. It was much too cute. After a moment, however, Akira reaches past the kitten to pull the device a bit closer. ]

I think there are kidnappers on the loose. They take people in their sleep and leave a kitten in their place. [Don’t mind him, little kitten-- just going to try and scratch behind his ears.]

[ Hiss, hissss-- though the scratching is distracting, so soon-- Agito just starts purring. ]

... it's pretty crafty, distracting me from the fact that Agito is missing.

[ He is not going to drink that milk, you know. He's not licking it out of a bowl-- nor does he even want milk. ]

[Are you sure? Cat instincts wont kick in even if he just goes and pours that milk in a bowl and holds catgito close to it?]

[chomped]

[ No, he refuses. ]

[ --and even hisses some more. ]

[superbeast]

Ah...! No, it's okay, it's okay. [Holds him close to his chest this time, petting him to try and calm down that hissing.]

We can go nap first, then eat.

[chomped]

[ He doesn't want to nap, though. ]

[ But it's better than having a bowl of milk in his face. So, he's not arguing. ]

[ .. ]

[ Agito was rather tired, too. ]

[superbeast]

[There was never a wrong time to just sit back and nap.]

[So, onward to Akira's room.]

[He makes sure the door's closed and locked (for good measure) before finally setting the kitten down on his bed, crawling in after him.]

[chomped]

[ How is he even supposed to open an unlocked door, Akira. ]

[ But this is fine. Agito curls himself up on Akito's pillow, and just. stares down Akira. ]

[superbeast]

[Lays down on his side and grins over at the kitty, reaching over to scratch under his chin.]

You're so cute. I wish I'd prepared for something like this and bought one of those tiny cat sweaters.

[chomped]

[ Agito had finally calmed down a little, too. ]

[ But no, not now. Now, he's jumping up, fur and tail fluffed up a bit, and just. hissing like never before. ]

[ While trying to attack him again. ]

[superbeast]

[aaahh, holding a hand out to keep him at bay.]

Shhh, don't do that. No sweaters, I promise!

[chomped]

[ This is the most vicious kitten, okay. ]

[ Your promises stop nothing! ]

[superbeast]

[Such a bad kitten.]

I'll start singing if you don't stop, kitty. Your eardrums'll blow out. Let's not make any rash decisions here.

[chomped]

[ You're the one making rash decisions. ]

[ But fine, he is stopping. ]

[superbeast]

[What do you mean, he's acting just as he would around any ol' cat.]

[Relieved, though.]

Should I tell a bed time story? [hum, hummmm.]

[chomped]

[ Smacking Akira in the face. With a clawless paw. ]

[superbeast]

[Laughs,] I guess not, huh? Alright, we can just nap for a bit.

[chomped]

[ That's a good Akira. ]

[ Laying himself back down. ]

[superbeast]

[... do cats get cold. Should he get him a blanket?]

[No, probably not.]

[Just takes a deep breath and closes his eyes after he's made himself comfortable, then. Dream of all the mice you want to eat, little kitten.]

[chomped]

[ He's fine. ]

[ Just laying here, staring. ]

[ Waiting for Akira to fall asleep, so he can smack him around a bit. ]

[superbeast]

[It was hard when tiny kitten eyes were staring at you.]

[Opens an eye... then quickly closes it, as if he'd been caught in the act.]

[chomped]

[ SWATTING, AGAIN. ]

[ This is the "go the fuck to sleep shithead" swatting. ]

[superbeast]

[Augh okay. Trying, trying.]

[chomped]

[ Waiting, waiting. ]

[superbeast]

[It takes a while, but eventually Akira does end up sound asleep.]

[chomped]

[ Yeah, that's right. You sleep, for all of four seconds. ]

[ Before this kitten is just slapping Akira awake. Or, attempting to. ]
