[ so good he's going to ignore it and not feel "gay". ] Think it's because all the shit that goes on in other places. People see it at home and feel they can be more open with it here.

[ gay only means merry and happy, curtis. it's a good thing. ] And many people here have not been accepted for one reason or another, I think. It only makes sense to accept others if you know what it is like to be rejected, don't you think?

[ But she has found other people who have accepted her, who seem to like her far more than Will does. ]

[ She can hardly deny that. And Will has been exceptionally cruel. ] Yes. But he had reasons for his actions, even though they are not an excuse.

If they don't excuse them then he's a prick and shouldn't be doing whatever he's doing to you.

It is not that simple. [ Is it? ] Besides— he is no longer so cruel, and I know his reasons, now.

[ Squeezing his hand a little, a silent plea for understanding, and for him not to do anything she wouldn't want him to. He seems the type, perhaps. ]
