[A morally reversed Setsuna has a major announcement to make.]

Sorry I left without waking you, Kira, but I had things to do. I can't just keep lounging around with you. I don't think much is getting accomplished this way.

In fact, this whole fighting God thing is kinda stupid, don't you guys think? He's our creator and deserves a little more respect than that. I've been going about this the wrong way from the beginning. So, Rosiel, if you'll have me at your side, I'm willing to help you now. I want to. I want nothing more than to stand at your side!

[So, yeah, all of his stubborn determination? Now belongs to the other side. Setsuna wants to fight for the God that would abandon them. He thinks God is right - if your creations mess up, kill them all and start over. Rosiel is the most sympathetic creature in all of creation, and he will defend him and protect him until the end. Ready?]

Of course, we have the City deities keeping us from the real war, but that doesn't mean we can't make them see reason. [Wicked grin. Also, no desire to hold back for fear of messing something up or causing trouble he can't fix. That's just not very important right now.]

[Of course Kira is around. Also, annoyed. Human body, human limits, but he still made his way there in time. In time to see Raphael attacking Setsuna, which made him want to step in, but Setsuna didn't need to be protected from Raphael. He needed to be protected from his own actions.]

[Kira called forth Shiranui and held the blade, though he stayed off to the side. Biding time was the best strategy, really. Somehow keep himself and Raphael alive.]

[With barely lifting a muscle, giving it a thought, or even trying, Setsuna makes his own wind shield, just before the blades hit, dissipating them. He doesn't make a counter attack just yet. Part of him still feels some sort of wrongness about this whole scenario.

It's when Kira arrives he feels stronger about it and finally builds an energy ball in his hands.]

I told you both to stay out of this for a reason. How stupid are you?!

[Kira was very, very right. Setsuna's actions were going to hurt tomorrow. That energy ball? Headed towards Raphael. Setsuna leaps, sword in hand, to follow it, just in case Raphael's shield handles it or Raphael moves. He's already anticipating, though - Raphael's not the one with a sword.]

[Raphael manages to shield at least that, even if he's shakier on the uptake than he'd like to be. Maybe he should've taken those numerous trips to the Underground with Michael slightly more seriously.]

[But thinking about Michael, with Kira there in the background, is just nauseating, the icing on the cake of this ridiculous situation, and a distraction besides, what with Setsuna hurtling right toward him. So Raphael takes to the sky immediately, shouting as he does.]

Do you honestly think I'd be here if I had an alternative? Really?

[But loath as he is to admit it he wants that backup, miniscule as it might be, so he swoops back down within mere moments, breathing slightly labored.]

An alliance with Rosiel could cost this entire city. Is that what you want?

[Damn, that sword. He's better off vying to protect himself from that than launching any more blades for now. The quick end to this he'd hoped for is already probably laughable, though he does lower his defensive shield long enough to toss several strong blasts of wind in his general direction.]

[They'd both likely be anywhere but here had there been any choice whatsoever in the matter. But being who they were, there hadn't been. Not really. The one good thing about Raphael being involved is that he's at least likely to heal anything Setsuna might do to him. Much like Kira, as long as the body holds.]

He'd not want any of this. Setsuna!

[Since all he has is a sword and a human body, all he can do is block Nanatsusaya, which he does, doing his best to force the blade to hold still.]

Always so rash.

[Setsuna's eyes stay mostly focused on Kira, but they move to Raphael's direction at his question.]

Idiot.... Of course I don't want that. But you think you're helping with this? This is going to cost the City as well, and you started it! You're no less self-righteous or hypocritical! Who has the right and who has the wrong here?

[It was all of Setsuna's devotion, the actions purely him, it was only the sentiment and angle that had changed.]

You have an alternative. Start thinking instead of jumping to every possible conclusion! [Not that Setsuna would be okay with killing Rosiel. In the end, that would hurt him more than anything else. Besides, what came next? He still wasn't really sure.

He had to deflect the wind blasts sent at him, which he had not counted on, one still grazing him despite that, and tend to Kira's block, which he had counted on. Block accepted, but Setsuna moved quickly after, aiming another blow, lower, a blast of energy directly after, and Raphael's own blasts - minus the one - sent back at him. So, these two weren't so bad after all.]

[Whatever sharp comment Raphael might have managed once is cut completely off as he tries to evade Setsuna's blast on top of his own attacks, without half the finesse he'd like. The shield's reduced from what it was, so some of the return fire hits its target, sending Raphael sprawling to the ground, the breath momentarily knocked out of even him.]

[It's precious seconds before he's back on his feet again, stumbling forward. Too many, and he hates who he might have to thank for being allowed a brief recovery. He's been too safe and too sane about this, acting as if his opponent isn't so devastatingly committed. He'd have to do better in order to stand a chance. The shield disappears entirely as Raphael focuses the rest of his energy into another quick series of blasts, with any luck enough to distract him at the very least. He probably can't avoid working with Kira at the moment.]

This is nothing compared to what joining Rosiel would do! Listen to him, if not me!

[Kira notes Raphael falling and he moves a step to be between them. He can't do more than buy time, but as long as Setsuna still paid attention to him due to who he was, he could at least do that.]

[And block another blow, and step aside again as fast as he can. Damn, this was going to suck soon. Before that, he at least tries to disarm Setsuna.]

You should really try sleeping this over.

[Most of the blasts are handled by Setsuna's wind shield, though a couple brush him, nothing major. And that attempt to disarm? Sorry, Kira. Not today. Setsuna pulls back some.]

If I slept, I'd miss my chance to meet with Rosiel.

And I think it's you two who aren't listening.... [Setsuna says that, but doesn't clarify what "joining" Rosiel means.

[He's tired of being on defense, though, and sends out a series of energy blasts towards Raphael, and Kira.]
