are people supposed to feel different here after they've died?
any hidden markings that say "oh, that guy/girl, yes that happened" or a burning inner desire to suddenly haunt things?
nothing too strange like smelling like wet dirt and burnt flesh to everyone else but you, i hope.

( this isn't stopping. all tears over here because ugh all the regrets. )
I should have been there.
ALL THE EDITS i'm so sorry
A possible second death would have been worse, everyone'd be ten times sadder. It's alright. I'm fine now- I still have a pulse and everything, which I was told was a good sign after dying here.

Y-yeah, otherwise you'd be City Dead. Looks like you're still alive, however that's supposed to work. When you did here, you usually become City Dead, but I don't know what happens if you die while dead. Or if you can. . .

Do you think it was just a fluke this time? If I died yet didn't really die... a coin-toss type of deal, where coming back alive isn't always a guarantee?

You didn't trigger City Death because of it.
I think they expected people to die.

Otherwise you'll spend the rest of your afterlife serving the Great Kogarasumaru as our underling!

Vacations can be taken whenever, you've just gotta grab your own replacement.
