City's storm drains are part of the Underground's tunnel system. The drains are similar in style to those of New York City - plenty of room to move and deep enough that those above won't easily spot you thru the curb gratings.

[She's not even going to see this as a mistake, Ed. She heard Bucky die, saw that others she cared about were out there and the second she had a chance to go, she went.

She's trying to get to Lockdown to get the weapon he made for her. Unfortunately this resulted in her pinned down in an abandoned building, tucked under the counter with her arms wrapped around her legs and despite what Rose said about the Daleks, there is very clear evidence that fire was used, if only to distract them while she ran.

She will be found very tired, sort of sooty and thinking she's an idiot and there are Daleks crawling around the area, discussing the Fire and the Human Who Made It.]

[He creeps out carefully, because he's not stupid, he knows the source and how bad they are and while he's invulnerable to most things he knows he's not invincible. So he's careful, moving silently, sticking to the shadows and counting on the fact that he's got no heat signature to carry him the rest of the way.

The fire, coupled with her scent, shows him where she went, and he follows, staying out of sight as long as he can before forcing his way inside the building. He pauses at the doorway though, just long enough to test, make sure he can get in, and then he darts inside, narrowly missing a shot by a dalek who's finally picked him up.

Great. Because that's exactly what he needs. He ducks behind the counter, taking up position next to her, on high alert, and when he speaks it's already half snarl.]
