Oh goodness. I bet there's never a dull moment. I have no doubt that you do. It must be nice having other siblings. I was an only child so I never had that pleasure.
D.C.? That's nice. What type of work did you do there? I grew up in Seattle, however currently I was residing on a ship in space.
Definitely never a dull moment. I've known some only kids and I think it's one of the few things I can't imagine. You close to your parents?
I worked for the FBI, Behavioral Analysis Unit. Time-consuming job, but we get to put the bad guys away so... worthwhile.
[And here he hesitates. He knows there are people here who travel in space, but it never ceases to catch him off guard.] A ship in space, huh? I bet that's a nice view. I'm guessing that's not in an astronaut going to the moon and back sense but in an actual space travel way.
I always wished I had a sibling. [Amanda pauses for a moment because after her accident things were difficult growing up.]You could say that, yes. They gave me a lot of support.
Now that must have been an amazing job! [She sounds very enthusiastic and curious.] I can only imagine. Did you get into many car chases?
Yes. The Destiny. There's really no place like it. It's has this amazing view on the observation deck that would just take your breath away. Well it was more of an...accidental sort of way. But I wouldn't have traded it for anything.
Parents are good for support, the good ones are anyway.
[He laughs and shakes his head.] Just a few, especially back in my beat cop days. Mostly in the BAU we work serial cases, homicide, arson, abductions... Most of that work is done in offices and on the scene of the crime. I still get in a good chase every now and then though. Gets the adrenaline going.
Hey, that's really cool. I got a friend back home named Reid who would eat all that space stuff up. So you traveled... from Earth? Doing what? Just exploring or...?
Sounds like a heavy load. So you do CSI work sometimes? Can't go wrong with the occasional chase always makes things interesting.
Is that right? Is he also a fellow cop? Helping out. In a way. Yes. The crew on the ship needed my expertise in solving their issues with getting the ship to move. It was in limbo for a while you could say.
