[ There's a video recording feed starting up of Eames panning the camera around the City - specifically, too, to it's citizens who happen to be wandering around in an apparent daze. He appears to be sitting at an outdoor table to one restaurant or another, if the chairs and other non-affected patrons are anything to go by, and the bottle of beer with condensation pooling at the bottom in front of him. ]

I seem to recall an episode where all of our water sources were spouting out beer. Is it too much of a stretch to consider the idea this time someone's put a sedative in our well?

[ Then, quieter: ] Or a hallucinogen, if some of these stories are to go by.

I've never heard of a free year's supply of toothpaste being at the end of a rainbow, I have to say. But I suppose I'm just being close minded, hm?

And they'd certainly be saving money, a year's supply of it.

I've always wondered how they measured a year's supply of anything. What if you go through toothpaste quickly?

Sometimes you simply call or send in notes to the company to receive another item when your current one has run out.

Or perhaps they have statistical averages, I'm not certain.

I don't think the rainbow has a phone, a mailbox, or statistical averages.

Too bad, really.

Unless the rainbow is really just a grand ruse by a company of choice.

It is a nicer than average rainbow.

First advertisements on billboards, neon signs, now manufactured rainbows.

Next we'll be seeing ads in our dreams.

Though I suspect the subconscious already does that for us.

Probably, but we can't be introduced to new brands of toothpaste if we don't know they exist.
