119 Howls: [Video] 3.14
[Mercy's looking absolutely exhausted, as if she hasn't slept for days. Which would probably be fairly accurate. She's been indulging in her go-to activities for dealing with bad emotions, namely baking and cleaning. The glimpses someone might get of the kitchen in the house show everything spotless and cleaned to within an inch of its life, as would the rest of the house if you could see it.
The problem at the moment is the sheets and sheets of chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies - and are those brownies over there?
She's staring at the latest batch she's started in dismay.]
I don't know what's going on, but every time I try to make something I end up tripling the recipe. At this rate there won't be room for anything in the house but cookies and brownies and the freezer's already full. Including the chest freezer downstairs. And if I bring anymore to the store Donna may kill me for getting crumbs all over her paperwork.
Tosh? Ianto? Fresh hot cookies?
Could the Welcome Center or Youth Center use a few hundred dozen or something? Anyone? Please.
I have so many more than any of us could ever eat.
[Oh so very cursed. Come get a cookie - or 3.14 of them if you'd rather. Voice/video for anyone who wants, action for anyone in the house or who might want to come by to get cookies or make Mercy stop baking.]

[Action]
I'll do my best!
Re: [Action]
[Being practically all skin and bones the way he is.]

Re: [Action]
Well, dig in. I have to get this next tray out of the oven.
[Action]
You don't think you can just stop? Wait for this to go away? You've baked enough to last you days now, anyway, right?
Re: [Action]
[She glanced around at what she can see of the spotless house.]
As you can see I've pretty much cleaned everything to within an inch of its life, so now I'm baking. Just usually I don't feel the need to triple all my recipes. That's the curse, I think.
[Action]
Why are you stressed?
Re: [Action]
I was... involved with - in love with - someone here and they went home.
Now a version of him is back, but... he doesn't know me. And to just be treated like any other person he wants to flirt with and bed... It's hard.
[Action]
He's not sure how to respond to that. So he'll... settle with something default, then.]
I'm sorry.
Re: [Action]
It's okay.
[And a pause.]
Thanks.
[Action]
If you need something, anything... just ask.
Re: [Action]
[She smiled at him.]
If I think of anything I'll let you know. Right now, just a new friend is nice.
[Action]
Okay.
[Then he'll just focus on the cookies; grab a new one.]

[Mercy grinned at him.]
Just a lot.
And then maybe you can drop some off at other places for me.

They're very good, by the way.

I'm kind of an indifferent cook, but cookies and brownies I'm good at!

My everyday cooking tends to be more sandwiches, boxed mac and cheese or ramen noodles.

[She can't remember if they had anything like pasta in his time.]
I'm not sure macaroni had made it to where you were yet.
Well, I can make you some sometime and you can try it yourself.

You may find it amazingly tasty or you may not like it at all. we'll see.
