119 Howls: [Video] 3.14
[Mercy's looking absolutely exhausted, as if she hasn't slept for days. Which would probably be fairly accurate. She's been indulging in her go-to activities for dealing with bad emotions, namely baking and cleaning. The glimpses someone might get of the kitchen in the house show everything spotless and cleaned to within an inch of its life, as would the rest of the house if you could see it.
The problem at the moment is the sheets and sheets of chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies - and are those brownies over there?
She's staring at the latest batch she's started in dismay.]
I don't know what's going on, but every time I try to make something I end up tripling the recipe. At this rate there won't be room for anything in the house but cookies and brownies and the freezer's already full. Including the chest freezer downstairs. And if I bring anymore to the store Donna may kill me for getting crumbs all over her paperwork.
Tosh? Ianto? Fresh hot cookies?
Could the Welcome Center or Youth Center use a few hundred dozen or something? Anyone? Please.
I have so many more than any of us could ever eat.
[Oh so very cursed. Come get a cookie - or 3.14 of them if you'd rather. Voice/video for anyone who wants, action for anyone in the house or who might want to come by to get cookies or make Mercy stop baking.]

I wouldn't mind cookies!
Re: [Video]
Or do you want me to bring you some - wherever you are?
[And hopefully he won't blow anything up or something. That would be just his luck.]
Re: [Video]
In the kitchen.
Taking batch number 7 million out of the oven.
Or should I say 3.14 million?
Perhaps!

I swear I clean up.
I could try some low calorie ones?

[ Perky voice time! ] Really? Cause those fudge-peanut-butter ones? To. Die. For.

I'll see what I can do.

I can't help it.
This is what I do when I'm stressed.
And well... yeah.
I could sit on the couch and cry all day if you'd rather?
[She couldn't actually. Not for a whole day. And not where people would see her.]

Please?
Re: private
How well are you sleeping?
And you don't have to clean up after me. I'm very careful not to mess up your kitchen.
[And she pauses, struck by something.]
How funny. I still think of it as your kitchen and someplace I have to be careful not to mess up. Lucky me, though, I don't drink coffee, so I've never messed with that giant monstrosity of a coffee maker other you bought.
But really, I can do this.
Though, if you wanted to make me a cup of hot chocolate, I wouldn't object.

Derek...?
He's back.
And he doesn't know me.
[Private]: [ Voice ]
[Penny, who he was very good friends with before, being back and not remembering anyone crosses his mind.] Seems to happen a lot here.
Re: [Private]: [ Voice ]
Except not ever let on that he and I were... involved.

Got somebody you can send over to collect them?
With this 3.14 doubling thing, I may never get away from the oven.

Re: [ voice ]
Baking at least won't make me completely nuts.
And yes, as you said, as long as I get such a great outpouring of people willing to eat them... Not bad at all.

action
Here. [She takes the cookbook from Mercy and begins rewriting the recipes on a different sheet of paper. What's she doing? Reducing everything by two-thirds of its original amounts, of course!] If you have to keep baking, then this should help matters.
Re: action
You're a lifesaver, Tosh.
And please, have a cookie.

Dare I ask why you're baking so much?

[Mercy gestured towards the house she'd scrubbed to within an inch of its life.]
I cleaned All The Things, so...
It's better than drinking myself silly, I suppose.
