[It's Charlie, frowning at pretty much the world. It's not her typical frown, this one seems a bit more confused and hurt than her usual scowl. And it's not accidental video for once. She speaks, her tone calm but exasperated. And an underlying hint of anxiousness.]

This is ridiculous. I have work to do. I can't serve people tea if I can't get within five feet of them before something knocks them over. [She goes quiet, closing her eyes and pinching the bridge of her nose before running her fingers through her hair.]

Toph and anyone else working the tea shop, apparently I have several feet of semi-invisible and completely impenetrable bubble or something around me. I don't think it'd be wise for me to come in. I keep knocking people over. I'd apologize, but this is a curse. It'll be over by midnight and I'll work a double tomorrow.

[And the feed shuts off, but not before Charlie scoffs, shakes her head and mutters 'ridiculous'.]

Wow, really? Several? That's some pretty awesome luck, Merlin. Kinda sucks that you're cursed within days of arriving, though.

One day, even. But I guess it could be worse.

Just be happy you missed the desert. That lasted for weeks. Or...just a couple weeks. It was weird. The City was split in two. One city a desert, the other glass and time moved differently in each city. And there were monsters.

Oh, very. There was one day where little bits of sand started showing up and everyone thought it was just a curse. One day of sand. Not a huge problem, right?

Except it lasted and kept getting worse. Things started turning into sand. And then one day, I woke up on a sand dune and the entire City had turned to sand. It took a while to get things straightened out.

This, though? This is more likely than not a one-day curse.

Well, they could... increase the width of the bubble or... make it into some kind of catapult or... I don't know.

...good point. One of my friends asked if I tried bouncing, yet. That sounds potentially problematic.

[She smiles, nodding her agreement.] On the plus side, one of my cats is entertained. He keeps trying to pounce the bubble and slides off.

[Chuckling.]

Sounds like fun to me.

Wait, hang on. I'll show you. [The camera turns and there is a small, grey kitten in mid pounce. He lands on the bubble, bounces slightly and then slides off onto his back. Paws flail in the air a moment before he rights himself and runs to hide in the cat tower. Charlie's laughing for a moment before speaking again.] He'll be back in about two minutes.
