[Julie's outside on the beach. Behind her, the beach house. She's dressed in a tank-top and shorts. Her hair is tied back and nearby one can probably see her bag full of art supplies. This is how she plans on spending her day.]
Three days of nice weather. Does this happen often in the winter? If so, I hope I'm here next year. It's beautiful out.
[Paintbrush, who's gotten a bit bigger, peeks into the frame and bats at the camera, meowing loudly. It leaves small grains of sand on the lens that Julie brushes away with a clean paintbrush before grinning at the camera and turning it off.]

Re: Video
There's only parts of home that I miss.
[And a lot she could do without, even if it was on the mend.]
I kinda like it here. It's crowded like home, but the people seem...happier, I guess. Not as worn down, y'know?
Re: Video
[A slight smile.]
They just have to deal with the problems here, instead. And the curses don't wear one down so much as... prove excessively frustrating. I do find that I like the individuals here, for the most part.
Re: Video
[But that smirk might suggest that she's not one to let idiots and terrible people ruin things for her. She has her own shit to deal with. Letting someone add to it just sounds counterproductive.]

Re: Video
Or something.
See, back home? We have enclaves of people trying to survive the zombie hordes but it's not just zombies we have to deal with. We have people running around outside the enclaves and such, trying to make things miserable for other people. If you're not with them, you're against them. That sort of thing. I'm...giving you the condensed version, here. It gets bad and I don't want to think about it because hopefully that'll change for the better, just like the zombies were.
Re: Video
[Well, that sounds extremely unpleasant, to say the least.]
I've found that in dire situations like that, there are certain people who do their best to ruin things for everyone else. While I can't say I've ever faced down zombie hordes, I've certainly encountered similar types of people. Remarkably, the City seems to have fewer of that type.
