♣ 007 || Action - Video | did someway say bedouin?
Day 001| February 15th:
[ All had been well until Liam woke in the middle of a spice field. Even without seeing, he could smell the rich scent of
And then it came. A giant monolith of pure, tough hide. A sandworm. Which conveniently crashed into Liam and ate him whole.
Good bye Liam! ]
Day 002 | February 16th:
[ He awoke from the darkness, feeling decidedly masticated but whole. Touching himself, he could discern no injuries, strange as that was. This, dear boys and girls was Liam's first exposure to City death, but, sadly, as the sun began to rise and dark creatures scuttled across the sands, Liam was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Before he had but a moment to breath, he was confronted by a giant beast! He had no time, even as he grasped at his mirror to activate his contract, another scorpion appeared, flashing out with its tail and severing Liam's spine.
Breakfast was served. ]
Day 003: February 17th:
[ Liam was prepared for them this time. He was wedged between a rock and a hard place, well out of range of the scorpion tails; they shall not defeat him! But alas, he should have picked a more fortuitous hiding place. It was the golden eyes gleaming in the depths of the crevasse that made him second guess his choice. Scrambling back out, running into the depths of the desert, Liam could only shoot wildly behind him. But they gained, and cackling, they pounced, tearing him apart.
The hyenas had caught their prey. ]
Day 004: February 18th:
[ Liam had had it with death! Hardly a moment to check the network, dying before the sun was barely risen, he would show them! Tying a white handkerchief to his head with his cravat, he mustered on, into the depths of the desert, gun at the ready. Bring it on, creatures of the desert! He will survive!
Except, all that death does something to man. He was nigh on parched and weak with hunger. By midday, he was collapsed on the sand with only a lone buzzard circling above him, waiting to pick his bones. ]
Day 005: February 19th:
[ He could nigh on weep with his fill of death! But he soldiered on. Striking in the opposite direction this time, he hoped for the best. If he died, he would just repeat this all in the morning. But alas, despite his joy, a pair of nomadic Bedouins appeared out of nowhere, cajoling, calling, cackling. Liam did the one thing he could. He pretended to be dead. He was good at it by now.
Alas, the Bedouins had other ideas in store for him. ]
Day 006: February 19th:
[ the video feed clicks on, looking grainy and spotty, no voice discernible except for a few words to those in the Glass City. To those in the City of Sand, his voice comes over loud and clear, hesitant, shy, and full of awkwardness as his face flashes into view, hidden behind a gold and white veil. The rest of him is just as dramatically garbed as well. ]
Ah, I... don't suppose someone would be able to offer me a loan? It appears I cannot leave without paying ransom first. I can barter a pouch full of spice in exchange for the help, or, if you prefer to wait, I do have some savings in the city...
[ he cringed as he moved, little cymbals ringing all along his outfit. Yes, the Bedouins mistook Liam for a girl after his awakening in their tents. Would you not as well if at the mere sight of men you fainted? But, yes, our dear Liam is in a pickle and could use some

secondthird coming of Elliot. ]
