Dean. I've got the last rescuee almost to the safe zone.
open action;
[ Castiel's been scouring the sand dunes for recognizable or savable faces, so he's a little worn out and beat up. The girl he's got with him now looks properly scared, but she's moving along at a good clip -- as the safety zone comes into sight on the horizon, the sand between it and them begins to swirl and suck downward into an enormous sinkhole. He shoves the girl behind him, ordering her to run.
Out of the hole arises this ugly thing, and Castiel moves toward it, a speck to its behemoth size. Anyone within a few miles of the battle may see flashing light in the dark sky and hear the great wailing bellows as the fight progresses. He wouldn't say no to a few more hands. ]

Castiel appears beside him, now freely bleeding and pretty much completely ignoring it. They seem to be making their new friend more angry, as it wails and thrashes side to side -- that tail is huge and it's coming right at the both of them now, but Castiel holds strong.
Maybe a stupid move, but he's not backing down just yet.

Rhodey fires off a rocket— a proper one, not the Ex-Wife, one that Tony gave him rather than Justin Hammer and it explodes in the worm's eye, taking out half his face. ]

The worm is still somewhat in action; panic mode makes for a very, very volatile creature. However, whatever Castiel is up to, it's not showing on the outside of the creature just yet. ]

Cas, what the hell you'd do to piss this mother off?

[ He can't suppress the grin growing on his face. Castiel cracks his neck and shoots forward, faster than a car could accelerate, and slams into the beast at the base of the ground.
Moments later, he's climbing up, and up and up. ]

Cas! You okay?

If you're trying to, y'know, die.
Castiel gets his hands on the tail-- rear end-- well, it's the non-head side of this worm thing, and just as he's about to put his feet into the sand and yank, the worm gets one up on him and does the same, sending him flying into a crater of sand not 10 yards away from his mortal un-powered onlooker. The resulting spray of sand is a thin tidal wave up, up and over.
Got an umbrella, mortal? ]

There's a slight shriek as the angel goes soaring through the air and into the sand, and Ariadne ducks, scarf covering her face as the sand crashes around her. Okay, maybe she's not quite far enough away. Pulling herself up and letting the sand fall to the ground, she glances around -- where's Castiel?
... Where's the sandworm, for that matter? ]

What if the sand worm bellows, the force of air and sand spraying toward her at 40 miles and hour? Probably best to not turn around, actually.
Still no Castiel in sight. Two choices: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE or foolishly attempt to find an indestructible angel at the bottom of that sand valley he created...

Okay, so maybe it's more like option one and a half. Regardless. ]
