Well, I did think the iPhone looked interesting. I guess now I can see what something like it is like?

[While Ren is smiling into the video, the observant will notice there are hints of strain in her expression]

I’ve been wandering a bit around this place, and I have to say it’s… nice. Warmer than it was in Tokyo. Which is good, I dislike the cold. Really dislike it. But even the best weather isn’t fun to sleep outside in, so can someone point me to where I could find housing or something.

[She pauses, her smile growing even more strained]

I’d ask for a way home, but last time I had to find that on my own.

Once one gets accustomed to its workings - which are, truthfully, much alike the workings of any other place - the City is quite the welcome change from any boredom one might have encountered at home.

No, it's not. It's got normal seasons and everything, it's just winter there right now.

Oh! It was the middle of summer where I was. It's been colder at night here, although I think it's still great to sleep in.

Well. There's a place in Fairy that I visited briefly, in their North, that's perpetually in ice that could probably tie with Russia.

I've been places there that make Russia look like a tropical paradise.

I do, actually. I run the Welcome Center, and you can have a bed there until you find an apartment or somewhere else to stay.

Where are you now? I could come and find you or give you directions or whatever works best for you.

Sure! If you find the Square--that's the place in the middle of the City with the fountain--there'll be a brick building with a blue sign that says "Welcome Center." It's easy enough to see, but if you can't find it, just let me know?
