I’ve been wandering a bit around this place, and I have to say it’s… nice. Warmer than it was in Tokyo. Which is good, I dislike the cold. Really dislike it. But even the best weather isn’t fun to sleep outside in, so can someone point me to where I could find housing or something.

[She pauses, her smile growing even more strained]

I’d ask for a way home, but last time I had to find that on my own.

Once one gets accustomed to its workings - which are, truthfully, much alike the workings of any other place - the City is quite the welcome change from any boredom one might have encountered at home.

I don't usually think of boredom as a problem really. And as for this place, it can be as nice as possible, that doesn't change that I'm here without my consent.

Yes, I am. Tokyo's in Japan. I can't say I've heard of Birmingham-Alabama, but I'll admit I'm not particularly worldly.
