[Anya is calm, cool, and collected, dressed in Slyherin colors with a small smile on her face as she twiddles with her wand.]

This is a friendly reminder that the Dueling Club is going to be having a meeting tonight in the Great Hall after dinner. We're currently accepting new members, though if it's your first time attending a meeting, you WILL be required to show us your skills.

[Gotta make sure everybody's up to snuff. The last thing they need is somebody hurting themselves because they don't know what they're doing...]

Think of this as...a good way to get your mind's off tomorrow's game. Which Slytherin will, of course, win.

[And oh, doesn't she look smug and confident at that.]

[And Anya will just be chilling in the Great Hall, sitting on the Slytherin table, practicing charms and trying to keep her mind distracted from pre-game jitters.]

And, hey, don't go getting ahead of yourself. With me on Gryffindor's team, Slyterhin don't stand a chance.

[She snorts, grinning a bit. She knows, as a Slytherin, she shouldn't like him (he IS a Gryffindor, after all) but he's a good guy.]

Psh, in your dreams. We're gonna crush you!

Yeah? Well, you're not gonna be disappointed.

[ He's a firm believer of inter-house fraternisation, so he's open to the option of making friends outside his house, and he's always been a sucker for the redheads. ]

Tough talk. Can't deny you guys have spirit and determination, but it takes more than that to get you the cup.

Good. I could use a challenge, everybody else is getting so...predictable.

[Interhouse friendship is good. Especially between houses that are traditionally rivals. The fact that Clint's good at spellcasting and he's cute helps a lot too.]

True. It takes strategy and clever thinking, which we have in spades.

[Anya can't help but nod and smile at Professor Janeway. They've been doing so well this year, there's no way they can lose.]

You will, of course, be coming to the victory celebrations, right Professor?

[He isn't on her team, but that's okay. He will gladly show her his skills. Have a British Teen Dean Winchester, smiling engagingly at the redhead at the table.]

Hullo, beautiful. This is where the Dueling Club is meeting, right?

[She grins, hopping off the table and walking over, holding out her hand to him.]

Anya Roman, pleasure to meet you.

[Dean shakes her hand. Another cute redhead. Is there no end to his joy?]

Dean Winchester. Charmed.

Pleasure. Well, Winchester, welcome to the Dueling Club. As a new member, you're gonna be required to show off your stuff.

[She grins.]

Care to give us a demonstration?

[There are lots of things that come to his mind to say in reply to that, but Dean dodges the gutter and sticks to the topic.]

Certainly. Will I have the honour of dueling with you, Anya?

[She nods, smiling a bit before moving to stand up on the table.]

You will indeed...and I won't go easy on you! Ready when you are?

[Dean leaps onto the table at the other end from Anya and assumes a fighting crouch.]

I wouldn't want you to go easy. I'm ready!

[She grins, whipping out her wand and getting into position.]

Okay. Ready when you are!

[He pulls his wand from a pocket somewhere - it's magic, ya know - and points it at Anya, starting with a Disarming Charm.]

[She grins wickedly, pulling out her wand and tossing her own Disarming Charm at Dean, before moving to swiftly put up a shielding spell.]

[His own shielding spell is up and sends another Anya's way.]

Ducklifors!

[And that catches her off guard, because what sort of sane person uses the duck spell during a duel? Well, apparently Dean. She just barely manages to avoid it, and she can't help but let out a sigh of relief because WOW, that would've been embarrassing..].
