Yes and no. I've been able to control and rest groups of them. Unfortunately the City enjoys restricting my powers so I'm not as strong as I would be back home. Still, they think I'm one of them so I have't been attacked.

I'm one of them. Demi-god necromancer thing. I get treated as undead by things that can detect undead things. So, they think I'm one of them. It's very useful.
