GOOD MORNING, CITY!

[It is, in fact, the middle of the night but close enough to sunrise that she can say "morning." But that isn't the bizarre thing here. No, the bizarre thing is that Ginny Weasley is beaming so brightly, she might burst, practically vibrating with happiness and excitement.

Also, she's kind of covered in flour and glitter.]

Isn't it just a wonderful day? And it's only barely started! I know things have been so difficult lately, everything's just been so sad, and there's really no reason for it. Everything will sort out like always. Why get bogged down by the City at all? I know I've let it happen for far too long and that's a shame, really, when I've got so many reasons to be happy!

[She sets the camera precariously on something on the kitchen counter, leaning in close.]

I've got wonderful friends, doesn't matter what all those stupid nightmares say, no one's died on me since the war! And if anyone leaves to go home, well, I say good for them!

[This is punctuated by a fist banged on a cluttered kitchen counter and the camera topples and the video feed cuts out.]

I'll take any cliché from you, [muttered, distractedly, before returning to the point.]

The usual, I suppose. Which is why I really shouldn't be too upset over them, I ought to be used to it by now!

Weasley, how goes the flatmate situation for you?

[She brightens, leaning in close to whisper.]

Remus is in the other room. [Who knows why she's whispering, she's probably woken him up by now.] He's wonderful. Have you met him? He's very sweet.

Oh, good - at least there's someone. Try not to wake him up with all the cheer.

You aren't worried, are you? You haven't got to be. Even before Remus, I had Sir Weatherby and the cats and the Puffs. And all of you! I'm never really alone.

Whether or not I've got to be doesn't mean I'm not. I didn't know you had nightmares, Ginny.

[She's still smiling when she says this, but there's no denying how she actually feels. Mae knows her well enough to know.]

I just mean it's very relaxing. Sometimes it doesn't help but I like to hope it does.

Flying? Always! Every day. But I'm busy now, I'm baking, which really shows how much I adore you lot, since I'm rather hopeless in the kitchen, not nearly as amazing as Mum but I'm trying!

How are you actually picking baking over flying?

Do you want me to fly when I'm in this mood? I'd go right up to the sun!

[CRASH INTO THE BARRIER.]
