[One would think spending one second in a space ship and another in a zoo would rattle a person. However, when Jenny lands on the ground with a thump, she isn't necessarily rattled. No, she's excited.] Hello, what's this?

[She picks up the device next to her and studies it for a brief moment before looking up excitedly at the massive creature in front of her. An elephant, not that she knows that.] Oh hello, what are you? [Getting to her feet, she reaches out to gently pet the trunk of the beast.] Trapped here in a cage, like me? Doesn't seem fair.

[It takes her no time at all to work out the device in her hand, the video coming to life. She smiles excitedly into the screen. The elephants trunk can be seen inspecting her hair, her shoulder, her face. She doesn't seem to mind it one bit.] Excuse me. I found your cages. And while I understand the necessity of them given certain situations, I must insist that you allow the more harmless creatures their freedom. It doesn't seem ri- [The elephant's trunk pokes her in the side and she laughs and looks up to him in response.] Oh, that tickles!

'Least you didn't end up in the cage with the unicorn.

[There's grinning though because this person isn't freaking out and demanding to be returned home.]

[Jenny smiles back, her look questioning and still amused with the entire situation. Really, her perspective does not resemble the perspective of most people.]

Are unicorns dangerous? It would be a somewhat different scenario to be caged in with a dangerous creature. Although sometimes danger can be entertaining, I think... and productive.

Think this one charges people and with four legs 'steada two it tends to run faster.

It charges people? As in it attacks them? [Surprised and horrified, of course. And that look turns to one of determination.]

Well then, if people are in danger it's very good that I was brought here. I do quite a bit of running about, saving people and civilizations and such. [The words are so familiar to her since she's repeated them so often over and over in her mind by now.]

Yeah. It attacked my boyfriend a while ago.

[Oooh determination is good.] Yeah? Know a few people like that here. Used to it back home too.

Just out of the blue, attacked him? Oh yes, I could see why that unicorn might need to be locked away.

[She rests a hand on the elephant trunk that's now resting over her shoulder.] Did you know that this is an elephant? I'm not sure whether he has a name or not though. He doesn't seem to simply attack people without cause though... or she.

Yup. Just outta the blue. [Let's be honest, the Doctor probably provoked it or annoyed it or something'ed it.]

Yeah. You don't have elephants where you're from? I think they're usually fairly calm 'less they feel threatened. Haven't studied 'em much though.

[Jenny is thinking that there had to have been some provocation unless the animal was just hungry, in which case the people in charge of the cages are starving their animals. This thought process is why she asks the legit question:] Did it try to eat him?

[Because if it did, that would explain why it attacked. Her boyfriend had been food.] It's not fun being unicorn food, I'd imagine. Your boyfriend should carry a weapon of some sort when entering their cages.

[Rose is certain there was something. She just doesn't know what. She was more worried about the 'you got stabbed' part when they were talking about it.] Don't think so? Just stabbed him in the leg.

[Nope, not food.] Unicorn wasn't in a cage. Just runnin' 'round. M'not sure if it broke out or if it was wild though. It was before I got here.

Oh, so this is a second hand story. Have you ever been attacked by an elephant? This one is very nice, even if it's a bit touchy-feely. I'm not sure how I feel about touchy-feely. I've never tried it before.

[Of course then there's a burst of excitement.] Oh! This is a new experience! Exciting when that happens, isn't it?

[The delight in the new experience makes Rose laugh and forget the question.]

Rose Tyler! Another person with two names. You must love having two names. It seems extra special to me.

[Of course then her features flicker with realization of the contents of another conversation she's having.] My dad knows a Rose too. She travels with him sometimes. Or traveled with him. I don't know much about it really except that a Rose travels with him sometimes.

I'm Jenny. Just Jenny, one name.

[There's just silence and a look of shock on Rose's face. It's the words 'my dad' that really do it. It takes her several moments to recover and when she does, it's not fully. There's a part of her brain that's exploding. He had a daughter after he traveled with her. He has a daughter that looks at least teenaged after he trraveled with her.]

Uh...yeah. That's...your dad...he named The Doctor?

[Of course Jenny is oblivious to Rose's emotion or why she would be emotional at all. She barely even picks up on the fact that Rose is stammering now. She's just too excited and easily distracted at the moment. There's so many new things here in this place!]

Yes! The Doctor! And Donna's here too! [Totally not implying that Donna is her mom. Nope.] I like Donna. And there's another of my dad here too. Which means I have two dads if he decides to let me call him that. There's always a choice.

[Rose is trying. She's trying to absorb and react appropriately because Jenny seems sweet. Very nice even.]

Y-you know Donna? [Well that definitely dates Jenny's existence.] Yeah...I--I know Donna and the other Doctor. With the...ears and the one with the...[Some sort of gesture to the top of her head.] great hair.

Donna gave me a name. Jenny, she called me and I liked it so much that I kept it. I just met my other dad though, the one with the ears, and I suppose we'll see if he likes me. I think I can be likable when given a chance. Donna likes me.

[She's so happy to meet someone else who knows her dad, probably even traveled with him.] I'm so glad you know my dads. Maybe we can be friends too, Rose Tyler!

The Doctor didn't name you? [This comes out confused and halting. She knows Donna can not be Jenny's mother. Donna would have mentioned that. Besides, the Doctor has already said that the chances of that were astronomical.]

Yeah. You seem likable enough. Bet we'll be great mates. [As soon as she works out how Jenny exists and gets over being furious at the Doctor. She can't hold it against Jenny in any case. It's not her fault.]

Oh no. He wasn't happy with me at first. Called me a generated anomaly, an echo. Think I confused him a bit.

[She doesn't look happy at the memory. Of course then she looks quite proud of herself, lifting her chin a bit and smiling again.]

But I proved myself to him. Showed him I was more than an echo.
