[The (Second) Doctor wakes up in what looks like a small space with a full-length mirror. He’s lying next to a pile of women’s clothing. He’s not sure how he got there or what’s been happening. He looks around him, seeing that he’s in his shirtsleeves, lifts up his right hand and finds he’s wearing a handcuff, and he’s attached to someone.]

What in the world? What’s happening?

[Rose is still half asleep unaware of her surroundings. She's mumbling wearing her purple slip.]

Mmm...Doctor. I thought you said---

[She jolts right up and looks over to see the Doctor completely stunned.]

Doctor? What the hell are you doing here?

(ooc: They're experiencing the handcuff curse.)

[She turns the water back on and passes her part of the chain through it.]

So, midnight is it? Why midnight?

Dunno. It's just how it goes around here. A sort of rule. But it doesn't always apply. Sometimes it can last more than 24 hours depending.

[She frowns as she still can't figure this place out.]

Maybe we should just wait it out in the console room, yeah?

Well that's cause before was different. Of course if we went up to Jack now maybe he'd start believing in these things.

I don't know. It's probably gonna take one of these things to hit him before he realizes it.

And even if it has hit him, and he still doesn't believe?

But he has to believe how else is he gonna explain it? Say he gets turned into something, yeah? Or acts completely opposite of him? He can't just say that was a fluke.
