[The video shows a sink and then water clunking out of the faucet in blobs and blocks gathering at the bottom.]

This is actually kind of.. interesting. It doesn't sound right, but it works properly. Almost.

[She runs her hand over the water and it collects up, but doesn't condense into one blob. It stays fractured despite whatever she's doing with her power. Currently trying to shape it into a pair of dancers. Bits and pieces fall off but she gathers them back up.]

With what happened to the water supply last month, I'm starting to worry.

Hey, kid.

[He's putting on a cheerful smile, but he's not entirely cheerful. Still, he's pretty good at faking it.]

You wanna go do somethin'?

Hey sweetie.

[She flicks the water away from her.]

Sure. I'm always up for that. What sort of something?

Oh, I dunno. Dinner? Drinks? Dancin'? That kinda thing. Somethin' distractin'.

That sounds like some fun kind of distracting.

I haven't gone dancing in ages.

You want to? I'll warn you right now, I ain't exactly light on my feet, but I can give it a try.

I am dully warned.

Where should we meet?

Oh, how about...

[He names a place where there's sure to be dancing, and a lively atmosphere. He needs to get his mind on something more cheerful, and that should do it.]

Say an hour? I gotta get dressed for it.

Perfect. I'll meet you there.

We'll have fun, even if we just do drinking and dinner.

[He's right on time, of course, and looking good. He looks around for her as soon as he gets there.]

[And she's there on time as well. She's wearing blue. Different shades of blue today, cascading like water. When Laruna sees him she smiles and waves.]

There you are!

[He makes his way over to her, grinning.]

Hey! You look real nice today.

And you do too, as always.

[She offers him her arm.]

Drinks or dancing first?

One dance first? Just to see how many drinks you'll need to deal with as bad of a dancer as me, y'know?

[He takes her arm, still smiling.]

Fair enough! Though you can't be that bad of a dancer?

[She leans against him. She wants to ask wants wrong, but she'll wait until later.]

You'd be surprised.

[He's decent enough, actually, though the bad leg makes it a little harder. Still, he's pulling her close, into some kind of waltz. He knows how to do that, at least.]

[it helps that she's not quite familiar with the steps... she does try to lead briefly... but she then lets Jimmy take it. Laruna lets him hold her close, since he seems to need it and rests her head under his chin.]

[He's decent enough to be able to guide her through the steps well enough. It's not like they're the best dancers on the dance floor, but who cares? Right now all he cares about is being close to someone.]

[They don't need to be the best dancers. That's not why Laruna dances. She dances to have fun. Though tonight she seems to be dancing to be held.

Which is also okay with her.

Sometimes it's nice to be held.]

[Dancing is a lot easier than talking, anyway. There's something nice about just holding someone and not having to come up with anything to say. That is, until the dance is over. Then there's more reason to talk.]

Well, guess that didn't go so bad after all, huh?

It was quite nice. You weren't bad at all.

Let's have a drink, 'n then maybe we can dance to somethin' a little quicker.

[After all, waltzes are pretty slow, and now he's all warmed up and in the dancing mood.]

[In answer to that, she pulls him over to the bar and orders them drinks without asking what he wants. But they've been not dating enough that she knows what he likes.]

What sort of dance was that?

[He's not exactly picky -- if it's alcohol, he'll drink it.]

That? Just a waltz. Nothin' special.

What would be special?

[She's the same. They do get along far to well in that aspect.]

Oh, hell, I dunno, somethin' fancy I wouldn't know half of the steps to. I've seen people do some real crazy stuff.
