[Hello, City. Yesterday there were clowns everywhere. Today July has the result of one. A balloon in his hand. Of course, he doesn't look like the typical child at a circus, he's not smiling.

Instead he's just sitting there on his bed with his hand on the string, the balloon floating over his head. Is he supposed to do something else with it? He isn't sure. It was just handed to him and so he has it.]

[Technically, what could somebody dowith a balloon other than hold it? Still, Uhura doesn't expect to see a kid looking so... indifferent? Yes, let's call it indifferent. So indifferent about it.]

Is something wrong?

[He shakes his head. No, everything is fine to his knowledge.]

[Okay, nothing's wrong. She's still lost on this kid, yet he reminds her of someone. Let's open the gates of communication slowly.]

That's a very nice balloon you've got there.

I got it yesterday.

[He tilts his head.]

I know you.

From the clowns? Must have been fun.

[A flicker of something--curiosity--crosses her face, but she just keeps smiling. People knowing her is still very disturbing, though.]

Oh, you do? From where?

This place. You asked me about the languages I speak.

You're right, I did. But I don't think you answered me.

I did. [A pause.] You are new.

[He did? Nyota frowns because she knows she kept track of who she spoke to. She keeps impeccable records, but just in case, she flicks back to her post on the network to double check. No, nothing from this kid, but yet--]

I am. [Beat.] You mean you knew me from the last time I was here? I'm sorry, but I don't remember that. There's a lot I can't remember.
