[outofthefreezer]

[Isaac’s face appears on the device, looking troubled and confused. He scratches the back of his head pensively while thinking of the right words to say.]

Uh, hey, I guess? I literally just got here, wherever here is, and I’m kinda lost. If anyone could help me get back home it’d be great. [He sighs]

There’s a lot going on back home and I’m worried about my p- [He cuts the word off] My friends.

I mean, there has to be some way to get back, right? Even though I don’t remember how I got here...

[He’s quite clearly at a loss. Its been a while since he had to deal with things by himself and he finds himself caught off guard by the sudden feeling that he was lacking something he didn’t realise he was relying so heavily on. He drops his arm, taking his face momentarily out of sight while breathing deeply, trying to come to some kind of decision of where to go, what to do when he catches a familiar scent, one that he’s had to track before.

Suddenly his face comes back into view, some degree of nervous excitement spanning across his features, after all if he was right then that means he wasn’t totally alone.]

This might sound weird but uh, Stiles... are you here?

[He stares into the screen of the communicator as if trying to will the other boy into existence because if Stiles was here, and Isaac definitely knew that scent then that meant that other people could be here, his pack.

He wouldn’t risk howling, not right now at least in the unfamiliar territory but it was something he kept in the back of his mind while heading in the direction of the nearest building.]

Think you can convince him to at least move into the City? [ He doesn't like being in separate places altogether. At least in Beacon Hills, he had the loft. ]

[outofthefreezer]

Me? Convince Derek? You really think he'd listen to me? [Okay so Isaac's confidence in past Derek isn't exactly high.]

[affectioning]

You could try? I will, too. I just haven't been able to talk to him much. [ He's never around. And now with Scott's mom... ]

[outofthefreezer]

Maybe if we both weigh in he'll think its a good idea? Living alone in the woods probably isn't good for him. [Although it fit him perfectly well in Isaac's world.]

[affectioning]

[ What's good for Derek Hale? Scott sidesteps someone walking towards then and turns. Normally, he'd go the opposite way but he reminds himself he's going to the apartment. ]

Maybe. [ But, probably not. ] And my mom doesn't know about the motel. She's from after that but I never told her, so don't. I don't want her worrying more then she already is.

[outofthefreezer]

[Isaac wasn't exactly noticing anyone else, he was trying his best to get to grips with the geography.]

Good, she doesn't need that in her head. [Really the collective almost-suicides of the pack is something he himself doesn't dwell on.]

[affectioning]

She doesn't. She has enough. [ But, he's really more worried about Stiles. Flipping and drinking on his own just isn't like him. But, he's been here for a year. Not that he'll voice that for Isaac. ] How are you doing with all this? Really?

[outofthefreezer]

[He just shrugs.] I guess I'm doing fine? Like really, for everyone else its probably really difficult... its sorta like I just fell asleep and woke up in a different place. [He laughs slightly.]

I was freaking out when I first got here, thinking I was alone.

[affectioning]

You wouldn't have been. [ He glances over at Isaac. ] Everyone here is great. You would've been fine.

[outofthefreezer]

I like to think so but really? I don't think I'd adjust to life alone again so quickly.

[His totally non-emotive way of saying without the pack he has nothing, it wasn't exactly like he had a lot of friends before the bite.]

[affectioning]

You need to give yourself a more credit. You're capable.

[outofthefreezer]

I might be, but at least I don't have to test that. [He smiles genuinely, he was actually happy to be in this new place if it meant that everyone was properly together.]

[affectioning]

[ Eventually, won't you have to? College? But, no reason to argue. ]

There's also no school. Anywhere.

[outofthefreezer]

[Isaac was totally just going to run around being a werewolf with Derek forever, fuck life plans.]

No school? Wow... what do people do here? [Because right now his formula looked like this : no darach + no alpha pack + no school = what did he do with his life?]

[affectioning]

[ Dig graves? Terrible joke. ]

They work. They have lives. Try to get through curses when they happen. I took over the animal shelter. I'm working on converting it. [ Or, he was. ]

[outofthefreezer]

Really? That's nice. [And it was, the idea of Scott becoming the new less-druid Deaton was an image he always had.]

So what you're saying is I should get a life? [He laughs]

[affectioning]

[ Less-what? He is not in the know of this Deaton = druid business but he did make a brief connection on the Ms. Morrell knows a lot more than she's saying up front. ]

Not - not like that. But, yeah. Live. There are no alpha twins with grudges here. [ A half shrug. ] Oh, but we're all still keeping what we are a secret. So, like I said, be careful what you say on the network.

[outofthefreezer]

Oh? Okay that works I guess, I'll keep everything under control.

[Meaning no casual wolfing out and trying to beat anyone to a pulp, but considering the lack of Alpha twins it wasn't exactly a huge possibility.]

[affectioning]

[ He stops again, facing Isaac. ]

I know you might be angry. [ Or have, what's the word - residual - residual anger. ] But, you can't lose it and attack anyone. With our luck, the network will see it and then we have to answer questions. There's a police force here, too.

[outofthefreezer]

I'm not gonna attack anyone... I mean, unless they try first. I heard I was here before, people might not be so happy to see me back? Especially if it was when I was more of a douche.

[God Scott he's pretty good at this self control thing when it doesn't involve evil Twinsformers.]

[affectioning]

I don't know. Just apologize. Or, blame your other self. We need to keep a low profile. [ His hand comes up because he means business! He is the true alpha. Listen to him. Not that he's even tapping into that. ]

[outofthefreezer]

Okay okay, I get it. Low profile. [Grumble grumble always being told what to do grumble grumble.]

[affectioning]

Are you hungry? [ And all of a sudden, your resident puppy is back. ]

[outofthefreezer]

[Yay puppy non commanding Scott.] Yeah, I mean I spent the day pretty much running everywhere.

[affectioning]

[ Not asking. ] It's up here. [ His mom'll be glad he's safe. And here. And safe. ]
