[ captain janeway is there to retrieve the last of her things -- notes, mostly, and the handful of pips that go to a uniform she's not wearing, left sitting on a counter top -- having moved into proper quarters with her first officer. to someone who's spent the past five years in close quarters with 150+ people, having a room down the hall from her second in command isn't all that different from being a deck away from him on voyager. and she would much rather share living arrangements with someone who doesn't destroy microwaves and doesn't make passes at her. it was like living in a frat house ]
