Do not be so complacent and easily distracted. We are at a tenuous juncture. New methods must be put into place or this city is at an end.
I do not yet know how thoroughly entwined that clock is with this environment, but it is failing.

There have been dimensional shifts in the City in the past, however I am not convinced the current republic in charge has the capabilities. Nor am I convinced it would protect anyone. Any methods beyond that, they have not shared with me.
The curses are deposed along with the deities, so there should be a baseline of normalcy that is simple to monitor for deviation.
