[ He's sticking to audio because he mostly looks like shit right now. That's what he gets for being used to his cushy life of sleeping like a normal person and then going right back to war etiquette. Soon he's going to find a beer and a cigarette and maybe a sandwich and then pass the fuck out.

Probably like in the next five minutes if he can get his limbs to co-ordinate themselves. ]

[ He doesn't specify he means people he actually likes. He's too tired to even be sarcastic. ]

[ He's got marks on his face from the cushion, that shouldn't be as stupidly endearing as it is. ]

You should definitely get pajamas, yeah. [ Bucky's pretty sure he would carry him right now if he weren't so huge. ]

[He takes a minute, looks around]

Would it be really terrible to ask you to order in some food?

[ He snorts. ] Yeah you are the most demanding boyfriend in the whole world.

[ He kicks him lightly with his own bare ankle then smiles. ] Go, clean up, I'll call.

There's money in my wallet-

[He says as he takes off his armor and starts heading for the shower. A minute later it's on]

[ Making the call is quick. He has to bribe them a little to get them to come out - especially with how things have been - but they agree and he hangs up, collapses into the seat Steve vacated and rubs his heel over Crepe's furry back. ]

We kind of abandoned you, huh baby.

[She's used to it. Steve comes out in a shirt and sweats and a minute later, looking more disheveled than usual. He needs a haircut, his hair is getting downright shaggy.

He sits next to Bucky, and reaches for his hand. Sometimes this is all the affection he can manage, even when they're in private.]

I got her an extra big bone.

[ He folds their hands together, doesn't mind because he knows Steve and this is how they are. ]

So that's why she's living in your shield? Playing favourites so soon?

[He squeezes Bucky's hand, pleased]

I don't really know. Maybe she thinks if I can't pick it up, I won't go out again.

[ Petting her with his foot again, her tail thumping weakly against metal. ] You're a clever girl.

[He can't help but smile a little at that]

There's a flaw in this plan, you know.

[He misses the leaning. The leaning is very, very welcome.]

[ He stifles a yawn. ] She'll bite you.

[He scratches her head.]

[ He laughs, looks up when there's a knock on the door. Using Steve's leg as leverage he pushes himself up, grabs the wallet and wanders over. ]

Try not to fall asleep while I pay.

[punchedhitler]

[He gives a brief nod, and stands himself to get forks, because maybe they are cavemen who don't eat off plates but they'll at least have forks.]

[ It's a pretty giant bag but hey, Steve is a pretty giant guy. ]

I think this is what heaven smells like.

[He's cleared off a space on the coffee table and reaches for the bag]

You're telling me.

[ Divvying up the parcels. ]

It weren't cooked in a microwave, that's for sure.

[ Grinning. ]

Just shut up and eat.

[ They're both boys cut from the same cloth because Bucky just fills his face in silence. ]
