[A rather disheveled and frustrated Chevalier appears over the network. His surroundings have taken a complete reversal of his usual luxurious tastes. In fact, it's clear that Solomon is, like so many others, incarcerated and unable to do a damned thing about it.

He frowns, and pauses to brush off imagined or real filth from his battered clothing. Soon enough he gives up and with a sigh, glances back up to address the network.]

An unfortunate misunderstanding. But really, there was no need for this atrocity. [Anyone who knows him might get that he refers to his clothing, not the circumstances having led him to his current 'residence'.]

For the record, I have no intentions of cooperating any more than I have.

Oh, and Nathan... I may not be home for awhile. [Truly embarrassing. He'll never live this down.] Unless you wish to come fetch me?

'This time around'? I believe that's a gross exaggeration.

Last mass incarceration; no bail for anyone. Not surprised that hasn't changed.

... right. I'd forgotten about that. [Not really, but he does have quite alot on his mind at the moment.]

[ mind asami, solomon, for she has only just arrived and still coming to terms with the whole idea of this... city. she's definitely got a few questions, though, and the fact that one of her own friends was instantly taken into custody upon arriving isn't quieting her mind down any time soon. that, and the sheer number of videos she's seen lately of people stuck in jail is just way too alarming. ]

Did something big happen recently or something?

[Solomon seems far too serene for the words he's using.] Dissension, execution, unrest, perhaps revolution. Most certainly a 'police state' condition.

Does anyone know what caused all that?

I suppose there are too many factors to consider. Certainly, our being taken from our homes against our wills and being studied is not something that would sit well with the residents. Or perhaps it was the recent execution of one of our hosts. Murdered for trying to help us.

But who's to say that all of this right now isn't another experiment meant to study our reactions...

[ she's not really sure what she'd been expecting. certainly, it shouldn't be at all surprising to think their captors capable of such acts, considering the very nature of their presences here, but hearing about it laid all out like that... so matter-of-factly...

Can you tell me what they're questioning you for then? Perhaps, there is some common theme among all those being suspected of wrong-doing.

I have heard of others who were targeted for having special abilities or unique powers. It seems anything out of the ordinary is triggering suspicion. Please let me know if you require any assistance. I won't allow them to imprison the innocent.
