Defodio [Video]
[Someone is very unhappy about being landed in jail. To her credit, however, she isn't panicking or crying. She knows what she has been charged with and it is ridiculous.]
I can't believe they took my wand. [Though they probably guessed what she would do to them if they didn't.] I guess all isn't lost...
[Scowling, she raises her hand and focuses on the metal bars.] Defodio! [The metal creaks and begins to bend, but it's not enough. She's stuck.]
It was worth a try. [Tucking her hair angrily behind her ears, she takes a seat and opens a book. At least they had allowed her to keep those.]
... [After a moment of staring blankly at the page, she adds:] We need to do something about this. They can't treat us like animals and get away with it.

aduio: (possibly from down the cellblock, too)
video: (hi neighbor)
video: (hey howdy wassup?)
The idiots thought I was going to raze the City with it.
Jokes on them. I don't...well...didn't need the sword if I wanted to do that. Which I don't.
video: (oh nothin' much. just stuck in a jail.)
video: (good times. good times. i'm stuck too, bro.)
[She's not going to comment on that personality bit, mostly because she's certain it's there.]
Truth be told, I wanted to on the first day I was here. But that's understandable. I knew no one. I thought it was just...a repeat of something that I'll get into when I'm out of here.
[Walls have ears, lalala. That sort of unsaid thing.]
So I was ready for a fight. And then I grew to like it here because, curses aside, it's better than home. Except for at present.
video: (we'll figure this out.)
[She doesn't want to venture down that line of thinking.]
We have no reassurance that they will release us.

Ah, your anger . . . it is better than despair, but you must have hope, miss.

Ah, here it goes.]
Their first mistake was letting us keep these devices. Without our bending, we might have to get in contact with people from the outside.
[She just tried to bend metal, so he can only assume. Meanwhile he creates sparks with his fingers to keep himself reassured.]
