[Tohru gives the screen a big smile, hoping not to worry anyone. Truthfully, she's shaking, so much she has to set the device aside so no one will notice by the screen shaking throughout.]

I hope no one was worried by my absence, but as you can see I'm very well! Unfortunately, I cannot leave.

To everyone at home, I'm very sorry to have left on such short notice. There is still left over rice from yesterday. I didn't put the fish in the freezer so it will need to be cooked today. The food in the blue container will go bad in a couple of days so you may eat that for left overs if you wish. I was unable to prepare lunches this morning, but I hope Miss Lin and Jinora will be okay. Is there someone looking after Korra?

I'm not sure how long this will last.

Again, I'm very sorry for any inconvenience this might give. [Before she cuts the feed, Tohru gives a deep bow of apology.]

[She must be in trouble, obviously. If she wasn't, she'd be at home!]

[Big smile! She tries to think of a way around this one, but, really, there isn't one this time. When she can't come home tonight it will be kind of obvious something went awry.]

Jail! But how'd you get there? Will they let you out soon?

They brought me in for questioning.... [She doesn't talk about how that went, just looks down, disappointed in herself.]

Unfortunately, I don't know how long I'll be here. They didn't say.

All along, even if I didn't say it, I've thought ill of the deities. How could they do this to us? Trapping people is wrong, I would think. But I never discussed it with them. I never heard their side of it. I never considered their role in all of this.

Sometimes, isn't doing nothing the same as doing something?

Sure it is, but I don't like the deities, either, and no one put me in jail. You shouldn't be there!

[Korra does her best to smile for the other girl, even though all she really wants to do is beat someone up. Tohru? In PRISON?!?!? The idea is as offensive as it is absurd. Korra very nearly went to have it out with someone, but she was reminded that even if beating the crap out of a person would get Tohru out, she's in no condition to be beating anything. The best she can do is wait.

She hates waiting, but she'll do it for Tohru.]

I was really worried, since Miss Lin works, that you might not have enough people to help look after you.

Hey, Tenzin isn't completely useless. [wry grin] And some old friends of mine arrived. They're going to be moving in with us.

[She can't help how her face falls, just a bit.] I'm sorry. I wish there was something I could do.

[Seeing Korra's expression falter as it does, Tohru immediately feels energized to do anything she can to help her feel better. Worry about herself? It's something she really doesn't know how to do.]

Maybe I can do like Jinora said and find a way to break out! I'll overcome the system and return home! No one need worry! [There has to be a way to break out, right?]

You, break out? [Are you drunk? Tohru, she thinks you're awesome, but you're not the kind of person to break out of prison.] You won't even swat a housefly! How do you think you're going to break out of prison?

[She doesn't like the idea of them thinking Lin was involved. And, of course, the charges of are Tohru being a rebel, based solely off of a picture she keeps of her mother. It snowballed from there.]

[ She'd tell Tohru not to provoke anyone, or get noticed by bad people, but she has a hard time believing Tohru would do either of these things. Or really whatever it is she did. Just wait until she finds out the spurious charges. Furious will not describe it. ]
